Ben & Deborah’s daughter, Scarlett, almost 6 years old.
Deborah picks up their family’s copy of the Little Paper at Scarlett and her brother, Nate’s, two favourite places: Scooter Girl and Sweet Thrills.
Scarlett loves creating art with Susan and her friends at the Garrison Creek Art Centre; is crazy about swimming at Mary McCormick Rec Centre (City of Toronto Program); and is looking forward to beginning piano lessons next week with Michael from Michael Johnston Music Studio (on Roncesvalles).
April showers...what's your child's favourite thing about April? The flowers, the bunny, the puddles?
“Without a doubt: no snow pants! But also the Easter egg hunt, getting the bikes out and cycling as much as possible, and soccer at Sorauren Park (well, maybe getting the t-shirt).”
A favourite outing for Scarlett’s family might include a simple visit to the local dog park (the open field in Sorauren Park) with good friends and cousins: climbing the rocks, kicking a ball around; or hiking along the hidden paths in High Park and finding good trees to climb; and cycling west along Lakeshore to the Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat.
