The Campfire Project is about storytelling, music, workshops and community gathering. Afternoons include free community workshops with Indigenous teachings, nature walks, fire knowledge, story-telling, song-learning and arts activities.

Evenings begin with a parade of stilt-walkers leading to the campfire site. Indigenous teachers and story-tellers show how to lay and start a fire and the meanings of each.

At dusk, a shadow show is performed, stories are told and everyone is invited to sing along with Shadowland musicians. Roasted halal marshmallows complete the night!
