The Toronto Outdoor Picture Show in Corktown Common

Thursday, July 4 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:00pm on Thursday, repeating until Thursday, July 25, 2019

The Toronto Outdoor Picture Show presents movies in Corktown Common on Thursday nights in July from the 4th to the 25th.

Each evening starts at 7pm, with films at sundown. This year’s theme is Dynamic Duos and each feature film is preceded by an independent Canadian short film:

  • July 4 | E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and Toronto-based Cree/Métis filmmaker Danis Goulet’s short film Wakening.
  • July 11 | Hunt for the Wilderpeople and Anishinabe director Nick Rodgers’ stop-motion short film The Guest.
  • July 18 | Paper Moon and Katerine Martineau’s French-language short film Waiting for Lou (En Attendant Lou).
  • July 25 | Some Like it Hot and Hope Thompson’s delightfully campy lesbian film noir, Switch.
Check the listings before you take the kids along – many of the Corktown films are family-friendly but a few might be better kept for date night.
Films are by donation – please support the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show!
