Isabell's 5 and 2 year old daughters. Isabell and her girls usually pick up their Little Paper at the public library or their local community centre. The girls are looking forward to staying up and eating candy on Halloween night. This year one will be a leopard, while the other wants to be some kind of superhero. Mom & Dad are still trying to figure this one out… Isabell says that they live on a great street for Halloween; almost every person on the street (even those without kids) dresses up and sits on their front porch chatting, there’s a lot of music and tons of decorations. A lot of artists live on their street and one of them is particularly fun – instead of candy he gives away the jewelry that he didn’t sell over the year. Isabell and the girls have gotten some amazing bracelets from him. In terms of safety at Halloween, Isabell’s daughters know they are never to cross a street without holding an adult’s hand but this year they are also getting flashlights, and they always check through the candy before the kids eat any – “We would never take our children’s candy... OK, maybe the caramels, and the Aero bars”.
