The Beach BIA is working with Councillor Bussin’s office, the Community Police Liaison Committee, students, and groups like Solid Waste Management to help freshen up the Beach and Queen Street East. Participants, including students who have a PA day, can receive trash bags and plastic gloves to pick up litter or help out in other ways.

Purchase or exchange (if broken) recycling bins and other containers; peruse water efficiency tools for sale such as rain barrels and indoor kits. And of course, everyone’s favourite: the giant pile of FREE leaf compost. Remember to bring your own containers and shovels to haul it away.
