Aga Khan Museum

Toronto’s elegant museum of Islamic art and culture’s design was inspired by light. Architect Fumihiko Maki ensured not only that light is ever-present in the building, but that, depending on the time of day or season, light will animate the building in myriad ways and on a hot day, the temperature drops several degrees by the reflecting pool.

You can pick-up a free family exploration kit with gallery admission at the front desk when you arrive and there’s Family Programming in the Education Centre for kids 5-12yrs from 12-4pm on Sundays and Learn a new dance at the interactive dance workshops in the park from 7-10pm on July 8th and July 14th and relax under the stars with a flick on August 12th and 26th from 9-11pm.
