Aga Khan Museum

Toronto’s elegant museum of Islamic art and culture’s design was inspired by light. Architect Fumihiko Maki ensured not only that light is ever-present in the building, but that, depending on the time of day or season, light will animate the building in myriad ways and on a hot day, the temperature drops several degrees by the reflecting pool.
