Kids Action and Arts Space (KAAS) DIY Superhero Lab with Small Print Toronto

Saturday, March 7 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Small Print Toronto is back to run their DIY Superhero Lab which offers writers aged 6-12 a chance to invent their own superheroes. What’s your superpower? The sessions focus on the one thing that superheroes from The Avengers to The X-Men have in common: an incredible origin story.”

Registration is optional, but will help with planning the amount of materials needed.

The 519’s Kids Action and Arts Space (KAAS) is a free, drop-in program that offers kids who are 8 to 12 years old a fun place to connect, meet friends and new peers. KAAS meets the first and third Saturday of each month, from 10 am to 1 pm.

The 519 is collaborating with community artists and educators to facilitate arts and movement-based activities for two-spirit, queer, trans, and non-binary kids, as well as the kids of queer and trans families.
