Outdoor Skating in Toronto 2019-2020

An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until Sunday, March 1, 2020
41 of Toronto’s 52 outdoor skating rinks will be open for the season as of November 30th and 11 more will welcome you onto the ice as of December 7th! You can use the city’s handy chart to check if your local rink is open!
Note: The city monitors ice safety for skating at Grenadier Pond and you can check here for updates as the season begins.
Skate rentals are available at Wallace Emerson, Campbell Avenue, Dufferin Grove, and Nathan Phillips Square.
There are skating trails at Dieppe, Greenwood, Rennie Park, Colonel Samuel Smith and the Queensway Loop!
Outdoor Rinks at Harbourfront, the Bentway, and Brick Works
Down at Harbourfront, the Natrel rink is Scheduled to open on November 16th from 9 am to 10 pm Sunday through Thursday and until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays – please call their Rink Hotline at 416-954-9866 before heading out to confirm hours and ice before you visit.
Skating on The Bentway is open from December 20th on Mondays through Thursdays from 5 to 9 pm; Fridays from 5 to 10 pm; Saturdays 12 to 10 pm and Sundays from 12 to 9 pm. Skate rentals are free on Thursdays and there are two warming huts as well as snacks and hot beverages are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays!
Starting on November 30th, Evergreen’s Brick Works trail features skating on their beautiful outdoor trail on Fridays, Saturday, Sundays and holidays from 10 am to 5 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, the Winter Garden runs daily Family Nature Walks. Check here to confirm rink conditions.
